Terms of Service for Lifting Stones Coaching

This Agreement is entered into whereby the Coach (Lifting Stones Coaching) agrees to provide Coaching Services for the Client (you) focusing on the topics, results, outcomes, and goals outlined in Schedule A attached to this Agreement.

Description of Coaching

Coaching is a partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach and the Client. This partnership is a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the Client to maximize their personal and professional potential. Coaching facilitates the creation, development, and execution of personal, professional, or business goals.

Coach-Client Relationship

A. The Coach agrees to maintain the ethics and standards of behavior established by the International Coach Federation (ICF) (www.coachfederation.org/ethics).

B. The Client is solely responsible for their own physical, mental, and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions, and results stemming from the coaching relationship. The Client agrees that the Coach is not liable for any actions or inactions, nor for any direct or indirect results from the coaching process.

C. Coaching is not therapy and does not replace it. Coaching does not cure or treat any mental disorder or medical condition. The Coach is not a medical practitioner.

D. The Client may terminate the coaching relationship at any time (refer to Terms of Payment).

E. Coaching may involve multiple aspects of the Client’s life, including work, finances, health, relationships, and recreation. The Client is solely responsible for deciding how to address these areas and for implementing strategies based on coaching discussions.

F. Coaching does not include the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders. Clients currently under the care of a mental health professional must disclose this to the Coach and provide written consent from their practitioner before coaching can commence. The Coach reserves the right to refuse coaching in such cases.

G. The Client agrees to communicate honestly, remain open to feedback, and dedicate the time and energy necessary to participate fully in the coaching program.

Services

The parties agree to engage in a Coaching Program as outlined in Schedule A. The Coach will be available via email in between scheduled meetings, as defined in Session #1. Additional time may be arranged at an agreed-upon hourly/project rate.

Schedule and Fees

A. Coaching services will be charged as detailed in Schedule A, including sessions, email communication, and additional agreed services.

B. Session duration will be outlined in Session Duration in Schedule A.

C. If rates change before this agreement is signed, the new rates will apply.

D. Refunds will be processed according to the Refund Policy in Schedule A.

Procedure

Session times and locations will be determined by mutual agreement. For phone/online sessions, the Client will initiate calls using the number provided by the Coach.

Cancellation Policy

Within 24 hours: If the Client cancels a session within 24 hours of the scheduled time, the Client forfeits that session and no reschedule or refund will be provided.

Outside 24 hours: If the Client cancels a session with more than 24 hours’ notice, the session may be rescheduled at no additional cost.

If the Coach cancels a session, the session will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.

Confidentiality

A. The coaching relationship and all information shared within it are confidential, as outlined in the ICF Code of Ethics. However, the Coach-Client relationship is not legally privileged, and communications are not protected under legal privilege.

B. Confidential information excludes:

Information already in the Coach’s possession before disclosure by the Client.

Information generally known to the public or relevant industry.

Information obtained from third parties without breach of confidentiality.

Information the Coach is legally required to disclose.

Situations involving imminent harm to the Client or others.

Evidence of illegal activity.

The Client is encouraged to raise any confidentiality concerns with the Coach promptly.

Refund Policy

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

Failure to attend a confirmed session (in person, online, or via phone).

Termination of a pre-purchased coaching program. Partial refunds may be considered at the discretion of the Coach, depending on the notice provided and reason for termination.

Cancellation of a session within 24 hours of the scheduled time.

Refunds or transfers may apply if:

The Coach cancels a session (a replacement session will be scheduled).

Refunds will not apply for completed coaching sessions.

Terms of Payment

Payment must be made in full before services commence.

EFT payments require a payment receipt to be emailed to [email protected].

Fees may be transferred to a future session if the Client cancels with at least 48 hours’ notice in writing.

If the Coach cancels a session, fees will be transferred to a future session. Refunds will not be issued.

Services may be suspended if payment is not received.

If the Coach terminates services, unused session fees will be refunded within 48 hours of termination notice.
